Giambatista and YSL at Paris Fashion Week S/s 2012

Giambatista's spring 2012 collection was much more pretty and exuberant, classy and stylish. In my view he presented something worth wearable and trendy. Like some other designers his collection was also based on traveling.
The Fur, animal prints, ruffles, floral prints, all the spring 2012 trend codes can be nicely and clearly seen at the show.
His collection featured, metallic laces in color blocking pattern, Sheer fabric, fur, Ruffles, high waist pleated skirts, mini dresses, Animal print tops and animal fur skirts intermixed nicely, floral prints, metallic patches and sheer fabric intermixed in stripe pattern, the white sequin top and floor length evening maxi dresses.
The color palette was elegant and minimal having, white, black, aqua, pink red and yellow. The more nicer were those ankle strap sandals and the cuffs and bangles stacked on arms.

YVES SAINT LAURENT
YSL, a name i loved most and mostly due to his work. Stefano Pilati introduces flirty dresses, plugging necklines and embellishments. The collection look inspired by mid 20th century style.
The collection featured, embroidered trapeze coat, side slit skirts with blazers, the jacquard fabric, long printed skirts, the white suit and the mini raffle dresses. The black gold embellished floor length maxi dresses were the most prettiest of the collection.
The color palette was wide and bright consisting of sea green, navy blue, moss green, purple, black, magenta, white, strawberry pink, slate gray and black.
The wide belts with broad gold buckles and the shoes with gold tops gave more or less classy look with the outfits.
