Lanvin Fall 2012

Alber Elbaz celebrated his tenth year at Lanvin. He presented his Fall 2012 collection pieces first and lately celebrated his 10th birthday. I heard too many celebrities like Jessica Alba, Dita Von Teese and Tilda Swinton were seated on front row. I still remember Lanvin Red gown worn by Emma Stone at Bafta Awards.
The glamorous collection by Lanvin features, coats, cinched waist, round shoulders, high stiff collars, cutout lace applique work on dresses, peplum, embroidery, patterned dresses, ruffle layers, mini dresses, glittery jewel embellishments, rain coats and trenches.
I love the jewels on tops and dresses and those crazy red fur pieces on coat shoulders. This is what we call fashion at its best leaving women in a look that was extra luxurious and feminine. The color palette was maximal having dark green, black, red, royal blue, lime yellow, violet and some metalic hues.
