60's and 70's inspired dresses at Chloe - Pre Fall 2012
- Written by Black Panther
The creative director at Chloe said "Women used to wear clothes for far longer, so it wasn’t so specific or one-dimensional or focused on the look of a particular season. You might see a check miniskirt of the sixties worn with something from the seventies, and that kind of effortless elegance is also very Parisian in a way.”
So it is obvious that the Chloe collection was all impressed by 60's or 70's style of clothing. The collection features, checked and graphic prints, pleated dresses, over size coats, cigarette pants, patched coats, bell bottom trousers, laces, fur sleeveless jackets, hem high mini jackets and blazers, the fluffy baggy sweaters, pleated long skirts and the floor length maxi gowns that were white.
I love the pastel winter colors in the collection like, creamy yellow, tan, maroon, gray, peach, black, red, a little orange & olive green, and white.
The key accessories were square heeled pumps, high boots, loafers and the cool colored handbags. I loved the white & brown zig-zag patched Handbag among all.

Nicely combining the maroon, tan and yellow in dresses. Check dresses are also good.
