The Versatality by Dona Karan - Pre fall 2012 Collection
- Written by Jolie Angie
Donna Karan pre-fall 2012 collection emphasizes on bias cuts, that were present in fifties and still alive today. Collection was all nicely tailored and neat. Different coat suit styles look so official that it seems Donna realizes that after party season there is a season of work, work and work.
The versatility was evident from her collection because clothes seems to be fit for work places, parties, night function and casual as well. The dresses ranges from pant coat suits to drapes and pleated frocks, single shoulder formal dresses to solely party style big bows and ruffled top dresses. Deep V neckline party dresses and floor length flair gowns are all in her pre-fall collection.
The color palette used was also professional ranging from black, navy, charcoal to ivory. The slits, pencil skirts, silk tunics, wool jackets, leather jackets, sheer pleated frocks, big black bows, jumpsuits and tube dresses are the key features of Donna Karan pre-fall 2012 collection.
