This September 10th 2011, a french designer, Felipe Oliveira do his debut for Lacoste at New York Fashion Week, a well know brand recognized by a green small crocodile over shirts. This is the first time Lacoste presented a line for women. Oliveira said "He designed a line of clothes for women who was casual, energetic and chic".
Before this Lacoste targeted audience was just men and all the green crocodile shirts can only be seen in polo grounds and during Tennis game. This is the first time Lacoste outfits come to the wardrobes of men and women equally. Felipe introduces wide legged pants, printed dresses, and cropped jackets that Lacoste had never before.
All the models at the show are looking stylish yet comfortable in those chic dresses. Felipe designed a line of clothes featuring, block colors, geometrical prints, slim suits, crop jackets and wide stripped teas and tops.
The colors that rock the runway are mostly shades of Gray, Dirty Green, Navy Blue, and Black. Some dresses show red, yellow and light blue shades. All the shoes that ran the runway are also comfortable and stylish pairing fabulously with the dresses.
Jill Stuart collection was mainly based on peach pink, orange, red, yellow, and light aqua colors. Jill touched her dresses with some patch work. Her line of clothes were featuring block colors, belt dresses, Dotted top and sheer skirts. The most fabulous one were the patch work top with sheer skirt. She presented drop waist dresses, boxy silhouette dresses, Pleated skirts and the most cute one, "The palm tree and bird prints".
I love those golden shoes that sparkle and glitter like gold on the ramp.
