Prabal Playing with fabric
- Written by Jolie Angie
Prabal Gurung get training in National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi during the late nineties. He said about his pre-fall collection that “I got to thinking about my time back in India,” “But this is a side of it that nobody has really seen, the smoggy, gritty reality.”
Prabal this time introduces more comfortable easy-to-wear pieces. The collection features, bomber jackets, shorts or hot pants, flared dresses, kaleidoscope print dresses, peplum, straight pant suits, pleated A-line skirts, leather sleeves, drop end dress, fur, cuff and collars, slim blazers, sleeveless frocks and floor length gowns.
I love that chocolate brown gown having fine cuts and cool shinny fabric. The color palette was minimal consisting of black, white, green, earthy pink and coffee brown. The ankle-high booties perfectly pair with dresses.
