Chanel presenting Paris Bombay together - Pre fall 2012 Collection

Karl Ledger Field - CHANNEL - presented his pre-fall 2012 collection under the theme, "Paris-Bombay". The collection was all full of embellishments as Indian and chic look as french. He is only Karl who ever and ever invented new fashion and clothing ideas. The other world is presenting pre-fall in one sense and Chanel presented the pre-fall collection in another more powerful fashion sense.
The most strangest and amazing thing that i hear about Karl is that he's been never to India and yet designed so beautiful collection based on Indian culture including Rajashtani culture. All the clothes were accessorized with big bold jewelery pieces much inspired from India; the forehead pieces-Bindya, the nose ring-nathli etc. He uses Indian fabric elegantly fully embellished with thread work as well as sequin work.
The collection consists of awesome pieces like Liquid-Gold dress with Sari like draping, pointed hem dresses with leggings, fully pearl and stone embellished collars like Indian sherwani's has and the layered chains around waist and pockets. I loved the off white golden yellow dress with V line embellished work over it. Handkerchief dresses with big V embellished collars, Fur lining coats, the laced frock, Long coats with leggings and the Indian dhoti style skirts are all the most versatile French-Indian pieces from CHANEL at Paris.
